The first part describes individual countries and states. The second part gives the description, location and population for approximately 4000 sites. An ideal reference for place names in the early 1800s.

Full-page plate: "Rail-Road, Engine, and Carriages", a novelty in the early 1830s.

Leather. Foxing throughout. The map, "North America", is missing a piece in lower left. The other map has been torn out.
