MAP IMAGES

Many map images are included on our site. You will notice small images that appear in the lists alongside the map descriptions. Each small image is linked to a larger image you may view by clicking on the small image. Many of the large images are quite large, and they may require a few minutes to download completely.

Detail images are available for some maps. In such cases a specific area has been isolated and displayed so that a particular feature may be examined. Detail images are available through a link from the corresponding large image.

Please note that the images displayed online are not meant to portray accurately the detail or the colors used in the actual maps. These images are included primarily to give you an idea of the area covered in the particular map and the style of the mapmaker. The maps must be seen in person in order to be properly represented. All maps are shipped in accordance with our liberal return policy as explained on our page "About Ordering".
